Jennifer Macedonia became senior advisor for the Bipartisan Policy Center's former National Commission on Energy Policy in 2009. She has over 15 years experience in energy and environmental policy and expertise in market-based instruments to spur technological innovation. As an independent consultant focusing on the nexus of policy, engineering, and economics, Macedonia has advised clients on strategy and policies for the power, transportation, and industrial sectors. Formerly with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Macedonia served as an expert on the U.S. delegation to international climate negotiations from 1998-2001. At EPA, she also helped shape the development and implementation of market-based policies to reduce air pollution from the power sector. Macedonia has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.”
