Jessica Smith joined the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) in August 2009. Prior to joining BPC, she spent a year as a policy intern with Legal Momentum (formerly the NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund), an organization dedicated to advancing the rights of women and girls through public policy and the law.
Since 2008, Smith has volunteered her time with the Women’s Information Network (WIN), Washington’s premier professional, political, and social network dedicated to empowering young, Democratic, pro-choice women. She currently serves as co-chair of WIN’s Government Relations Network (GRN).
Smith received a Bachelor of Arts in history and women’s studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008. In July 2011 she completed her graduate studies in Legislative Affairs receiving a Masters of Professional Studies from The George Washington University.
