Julie Anderson is a senior vice president at the Bipartisan Policy Center. Previously, Anderson was Manager of the Climate Change Campaign for the Union of Concerned Scientists. Prior to her work in the non-profit sector, Anderson served in the White House where she was a Special Assistant for Legislative Affairs handling energy and environment issues for President Clinton. Prior to her work in the White House, Anderson served in several roles at the Environmental Protection Agency including Acting Associate Administrator for Congressional and Legislative Affairs. Earlier, Anderson practiced environmental law with Chadbourne & Parke and clerked for a Federal District Court Judge in the Northern District of Texas. She holds a J.D. with honors from The George Washington University and a B.A. with highest honors in political science from Ohio University. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
