Laura Hall joined the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) in March 2011 after several years of senior-level experience on Capitol Hill. Prior to joining BPC, she spent eight years on the staff of Congressman Dennis Moore (D-KS), a member of the Financial Services and Budget Committees. For the last five of those years, Hall served as Congressman Moore’s legislative director. In that role, she developed and coordinated the legislative agenda and floor strategy for the congressman on a wide range of issues, working closely with House leadership, senior committee staff, and key caucuses. Additionally, she advised the congressman on international relations, defense, homeland security, trade, and immigration policy. She also managed the congressman’s involvement in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and was an instrumental advisor during Congressman Moore’s tenure as the policy co-chair of the Blue Dog Coalition in the 110th Congress.

Originally from Overland Park, KS, Hall has a bachelor’s degree in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and is currently completing her M.A. in Legislative Affairs at George Washington University.
