Tricia Ferrone is executive assistant to the president of the Bipartisan Policy Center. Ferrone's professional experience spans more than 25 years working in government and politics. It includes serving as personal/executive assistant to United States Senator John Kerry (D-MA) for 20 years, a period of time that encompassed three of the Senator’s reelection campaigns as well as his 2004 Presidential campaign. Prior to that, Ferrone served as administrative/confidential assistant to Ambassador Morris B. Abram. Her work focused on managing his public appearances as well as managing and balancing his many-faceted life, which included being president of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations; vice chairman of the U.S Civil Rights Commission; chairman of the National Conference on Soviet Jewry; founder of the National Leadership Commission on Health Care; and senior partner at the law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrision. Ferrone holds a B.S. in Behavioral and Social Sciences from the University of Maryland University College, and a Masters Degree in Developmental Psychology from Johns Hopkins University. In 2008, she founded Capital LifeWorks, a personal consulting practice that assists current and former Capitol Hill staffers make meaningful changes in their personal and professional lives.
