Zachary Hastings Hooper joined the Bipartisan Policy Center in July 2011 as director of public affairs. Previously, he was senior vice president with The Rosen Group, a boutique public relations firm operating in New York City and Washington, DC. In recent years he has overseen successful consumer and trade campaigns for clients including Atlantic Media, the John Templeton Foundation, the Miller-McCune Center for Research, Media and Public Policy, CQ Press, Oxford University Press, TransUnion and Kiplinger's Personal Finance.

Hooper has also worked extensively with the performing arts, representing several Pulitzer Prize-winning composers and acclaimed venues, while being named one of New York's top arts publicists by DanceInsider magazine. He began his career in marketing with Ziff-Davis Publishing.
Hooper graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in English Literature and Asian Studies, and remains active in alumni affairs for the school.
