Charlie Black is chairman of Prime Policy Group, and was the founder of the firm’s predecessor, BKSH & Associates Worldwide. Black is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading public affairs professionals.

He is best known as one of America’s foremost Republican political strategists having served as senior advisor to Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush and as the principal public spokesman for President Bush in the 1992 presidential campaign. During 1990, Black served as chief spokesman for the Republican National Committee. He also served on President George W. Bush’s 2000 and 2004 campaigns as a volunteer political advisor and surrogate spokesman. Most recently he was the senior political advisor to Senator John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign.
