Cameron Lynch is the Executive Vice President at the Bipartisan Policy Center. Cameron oversees the BPC’s organization, strategy, issue selection and advocacy. Additionally, he is responsible for management of BPC projects and staff and is the liaison between the organization and the four members of its advisory board. Cam formulates, strategizes and implements policy objectives for the BPC and its five principal projects. Immediately prior to the BPC, Cam served as Counselor to former Senator Robert J. Dole. Cam oversaw and managed Senator Dole’s client and political portfolio at the law firm of Alston & Bird, LLP. Cam continues to work on behalf of the ROBERT J. DOLE INSTITUTE OF POLITICS at the University of Kansas. Prior to working for Senator Dole, Cameron served as a Policy Advisor to Senator John Ashcroft – later the United States Attorney General. Under Senator Ashcroft, Cam directed numerous legislative and policy directives. Cameron previously worked on the policy staff of the John McCain 2000 presidential campaign as well as the George W. Bush 2004 re-election campaign. He is an active consultant and fundraiser for national and state GOP campaigns. A frequent author and speaker, Cam has been featured in The New York Times, the Washington Post, The Hill and Roll Call – who named him “one of the top 50 public policy professionals to watch under 40.” Cam has appeared as a commentator on FOX, CSPAN, CNN, and CBS and often speaks at seminars and universities across the country. Cameron’s writings have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The William & Mary Law Review, The Georgetown Public Policy Review, The Politico, Town Hall and various other political journals. Cameron received his J.D. with honors from William & Mary, his B.A. magna cum laude from Cornell University and is completing his Masters in Public Policy from Georgetown University. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the United States Supreme Court Bar, the Washington D.C. Bar and the Maryland Bar. He lives in Washington D.C. with his wife Sarah.
