He will also be presenting a poster session on that same topic from 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Monday, January 14th in the International Center of the Washington Hilton.

    Schank served as Transportation Policy Advisor to Senator Hillary Clinton. He previously worked as a consultant with Parsons Brinckerhoff, one of the world’s largest transportation planning and engineering firms.

  • Dave Conover- Panelist at National Global Climate Change Legislation: How the Key Players View the I December 7, 2007 - David Conover, Counsel for the National Commission on Energy Policy and BPC's National Transportation Policy Project, will be a panelist during an ABA SEER Climate Change teleconference titled, "National Global Climate Change Legislation: How the Key Players View the Issues."

    Time: 9:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. PST; 10:15 a.m. - 11:45 p.m. MST; 11:15 p.m. - 12:45 p.m. CST; and 12:15 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. EST.

    The teleconference will address the key issues under consideration in the legislation, including key design elements of cap-and-trade bills such as allowance allocations versus auctions, point of regulation, offsets, cost-containment mechanisms, and technologies, incentives and funding mechanisms.
